Coastal Rowing League

The Coastal Rowing League makes coastal rowing more inclusive and accessible; attracting those who relish competition and those who simply value the health benefits and community it offers. All are welcome.

The Coastal Rowing League, formerly the South West Coastal Rowing League, has been operating successfully for many years, in the past primarily competing in quads. In recent years the Coastal Rowing League has expanded with the growing popularity of coastal rowing. There are now more clubs and athletes participating, helped with the introduction of singles and doubles races and the addition of extra age categories.

Regattas are held in stunning coastal locations and during the season crews face a wide range of sea conditions which makes for exciting racing, over courses that range from 4km up to 8km.

If you want to race, but don’t have a boat, the Coastal Rowing Centre goes to all the events with a trailer of coastal singles and doubles available to hire.  If you want to train prior to competing (advisable if you are new to coastal rowing) visit the Coastal Rowing Centre in Studland.
